A serious road crash in Co Donegal has left three people injured, with one woman requiring airlift to hospital after the collision involving three separate vehicles.
Gardai are now appealing for witnesses following the incident, which left emergency services dealing with multiple casualties at the scene.
A woman was airlifted from the crash site due to the severity of her injuries, with the air ambulance called in to ensure she received urgent medical care as quickly as possible. Two other people, a man in his 40s and a woman in her 60s who were travelling in the other vehicles involved, were also treated at the scene by emergency responders.
The crash, which occurred in Co Donegal, prompted a major response from the emergency services, with gardai, ambulance crews and the air ambulance all attending the scene.
