A 20-year-old man was left needing medical treatment after he was deliberately pushed off his bicycle in Glasgow on Saturday.
The incident happened in the Firhill Road area of the city, where the young cyclist was targeted in what police are treating as an assault.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man was treated for his injuries at the roadside following the attack.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or who has any details that could help identify those responsible.
Firehill Road is a busy route in the north of Glasgow, close to Partick Thistle’s Firhill Stadium, and the area sees regular foot and cycle traffic throughout the week.

Absolutely shocking, hope they catch whoever did this. Glasgow city centre can be rough at times but this is just pure mindless violence. Get well soon to the cyclist, nobody deserves that.
