Man Charged After Bathroom Fire Breaks Out At Nairn High Street Holiday Let

A man has been charged in connection with a fire that broke out in a bathroom at a self-catering property on Nairn High Street.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze. Thankfully, nobody was injured in the incident.

Police have since charged a man in connection with the fire, though no further details about the suspect have been made public at this stage.

Nairn High Street is a busy town centre location, and the property involved was being used as self-catering holiday accommodation. The quick response from firefighters meant the blaze was brought under control before it could cause wider damage or put lives at risk.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, as is standard procedure when charges are brought in Scotland.
