Edinburgh Man Fighting For Life After Being Found Seriously Injured In Garden

A 43-year-old man is receiving hospital treatment after being discovered seriously injured in a garden in west Edinburgh, with police now launching a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Emergency services were scrambled to Whitson Road at around 9.30pm on Friday evening, where crews found the man in a critical condition.

The injured man was swiftly transported to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, where he is being treated for his injuries. The severity of his condition prompted an immediate police response.

Officers from Police Scotland have confirmed they are actively investigating the incident, though the exact nature of the man’s injuries and how he came to be found in such a serious state have not yet been disclosed.

Whitson Road, located in the Stenhouse area of Edinburgh, would have been a concerning scene for local residents on Friday night as emergency vehicles attended the address.

Police Scotland have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward, as investigators work to piece together the events that led to the man being found in the garden.
