A person has been taken to hospital following a two-car crash on one of the busiest motorways in Scotland.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the M8 eastbound slip road at Junction 4, with crews responding to the scene to deal with the collision.
The crash involved two vehicles and left at least one person requiring medical attention, with ambulance crews on hand to treat those involved before transporting the casualty to hospital.
The M8 is one of Scotland’s most heavily used motorways, connecting Glasgow and Edinburgh, and incidents on its slip roads can cause significant disruption for drivers during busy periods.
Police and other emergency services attended the scene to manage the situation and ensure the safety of those involved as well as other road users passing through the area.
Authorities have not yet released details on the condition of the person taken to hospital or the full circumstances surrounding how the crash came about.
