Search Underway For Vulnerable Glasgow Teenager Missing Since Friday Morning

Police in Glasgow are growing increasingly concerned for a teenage boy who has been missing since Friday morning.

Kofi Nyamekye, who is from the Parkhead area of the city, was last seen at around 11.10am on Friday and has not been in contact since. Officers have described him as vulnerable, raising fears for his welfare as the search stretches into a second day.

Parkhead sits in the east end of Glasgow, and locals in the area are being urged to keep an eye out for the teenager and report any sightings to police immediately.

Anyone who has seen Kofi or knows of his whereabouts is being asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting the relevant incident number. Officers are urging anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward, as every detail could help locate him safely.

  1. Really hope they find her safe, been too long already. Glasgow can be a rough place for young ones on their own. Fingers crossed the family get some good news soon.
