Five gorgeous dogs are currently looking for loving families to take them in, with Welsh rescue centre Many Tears Animal Rescue appealing to the public to come forward.
Based in Carmarthenshire, Many Tears has been rehoming dogs for years and the team there pour everything into making sure each animal finds the right match. Right now, five very different dogs are sitting in kennels hoping someone will open their door to them.
First up is Buddy, a friendly and playful lad who loves nothing more than a good run around followed by a cuddle on the sofa. He gets on well with older children and would suit an active household that can give him the outdoor time he craves.
Then there is Rosie, a gentle soul who has had a bit of a rough start in life. She is a little shy at first but once she trusts you, she is incredibly affectionate. The team at Many Tears say she would thrive in a quieter home without too much noise or chaos, ideally with patient owners who understand she just needs time to come out of her shell.
Third on the list is Chester, a big bouncy boy full of personality. He is one of those dogs who makes everyone smile the moment they walk through the door. Chester is great with people and has bags of energy, so a family who enjoy walks, hikes or just generally being outdoors would be perfect for him.
Lola is another one waiting patiently for her chance. She is a smaller dog with a huge character and loves being around people. She has been at the rescue for a little while now and the staff are keen to see her settled somewhere she can truly call home. Lola would be happy in a flat or a house as long as she gets regular walks and plenty of fuss.
Finally there is Max, an older dog who deserves a comfortable and calm retirement. He is not asking for much, just a warm bed, regular meals and someone to sit with him in the evenings. Older dogs like Max are often overlooked at rescues, but the team say he has so much love left to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a laid-back, loyal friend.
Many Tears says all five dogs have been health checked and are up to date with vaccinations. Each one will be matched carefully with the right home, and the rescue carries out home checks to make sure every adoption is the right fit for both the dog and the family.
