Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has arrived in Ukraine for a crucial meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky. The visit, aimed at reinforcing the UK’s diplomatic and military commitment to Kyiv, comes at a pivotal moment in the ongoing conflict. During the talks, the Prime Minister is expected to deliver a message of resolute and lasting British support, reassuring Ukraine of its security partnerships with the UK in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.

Good to see Keir making the trip out there personally, shows some real commitment at least. Though I do wonder if he’s as welcomed in Kyiv as he is back home… not exactly everyone’s cup of tea is he. Still, Ukraine needs all the support it can get and Britain stepping up matters. Just hope it translates into actual action and not just photo ops and handshakes.

Good to see him actually showing up in person. Actions speak louder than words and Ukraine needs to know their allies aren’t just paying lip service. Hope this visit leads to something concrete and not just another photo op.
